Improving Service Quality: UIN Jakarta Holds Seminar of Employee Regulations

Diorama Room, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, through the Bureau of General Administration, Personnel, and Finance (AUKK), held a seminar regarding the personnel regulations and services in the Diorama Room, Harun Nasution Building, on Thursday (August 21, 2025).

The event was attended by Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., who highlighted the importance of continuous human resource development by reminding the obligation to develop mastery in their respective fields.

"Human resources must be trained in their respective fields; for example, finance should be trained in finance, not in public relation," he said.

He further added that work at UIN Jakarta is not solely administrative but also requires sincerity and dedication.

"Let's work spiritually, sincerely, and with love for UIN. If our hearts don't love UIN, how else can we love our job? This is our home and we should love it," he emphasized.

Fadlin, S.Si, a Junior Expert Human Resources Analyst at the Ministry of Religious Affairs' Human Resources Bureau, reminded the urgency of regulations governing the human resources development system and strengthening human resources capacity within UIN Jakarta.

"I think regulations related to human resources development remains important, because they automatically affect thee development of UIN Jakarta itself," he explained.

He also added that the implementation of a merit-based system is a focus of this outreach program with several crucial aspects to ensure that human resources management will be carried out according to the principles of professionalism and fairness.

"If performance, qualifications, and competencies are aligned with the merit system, then the wheels of the organization and the wheels of government at UIN Jakarta in particular and the Ministry of Religious Affairs in general will run smoothly," he assured.

This outreach activity also featured presentations on the latest personnel regulations, administrative service systems, and interactive discussion sessions with participants.

By implementing these activities, it is hoped that all employees will increasingly perform better in their duties and responsibilities, while also improving the quality of service at UIN Jakarta.
